Requirements for Traffic Officer Learnership
To apply, candidates must be younger than 35 years old. They should also provide a comprehensive curriculum vitae and should include contact information, such as their addresses and contact details. In addition, they should include copies of their ID documents, certificates, and proof of address.
Candidates must also meet the following guidelines:
- You must be a citizen of South Africa.
- Candidates must have a valid South African identification document.
- All applicants must have a valid Code B driver’s license. Manual
- Candidates must have finished Grade 12 and be in possession of a certificate.
- Applicants must be fluent in English and at least one additional language.
- Candidates must have no criminal history.
- For rigorous activities, you must be medically fit.
- Candidates must be competent to possess a firearm and hence not be found incompetent under the Firearms Control Act.
- Candidates must also not be deemed incompetent under any other relevant legislation.
- Candidates must be available to work weekends, holidays, and shifts.

All candidates will be carefully screened and only those who make the cut will be contacted. They will be required to do a medical, submit a fingerprint, and show their driving and fitness records. Application for Traffic Officer Learnership
Some companies provide online applications for learnerships. However, these are not all available. You can also collect applications at the offices of these companies.
Candidates will be required to fill out a Z83 Form, which may be obtained from any of the Provincial Government Departments.
All candidates are required to complete and sign these forms in order to be considered for the position. Each application should include a copy of their Document ID, their License, Curriculum Vitae, and contact details.
If they are willing to relocate, they must meet the necessary requirements to be considered for this position. Most of the training will be conducted in accordance with the SAQA’s qualification standards for traffic officers.
