Candidate/s will be working with the store manager and will have the opportunity to develop a career in retail. To provide a superior customer experience, Clicks aim to establish efficient point-of-sale (POP) processes, provide effective merchandising, and manage store’s overall operations (operational activities).

Duties & Responsibilities
Job Purpose:
The goal of this positions is to provide a superior customer experience by implementing effective merchandising and operational activities in a store.
Job Objectives:
The goal of this position is to ensure that all operational activities are carried out in a timely manner and that the customer receives the best possible service. To maintain a high level of accuracy when it comes to scanning and collecting payment for products, as well as ensuring that cash is handled properly.
Promote the Clicks’ Clubcard and enroll new members in order to reach the target number of club-card participants. To inform customers about promotions and to make them feel good about shopping, this position is dedicated to providing a superior customer experience.
This position is dedicated to maintaining and improving the merchandising and housekeeping standards of our company. To ensure that our customers receive the best possible service, this individual will additionally be developing and sharing product knowledge with the relief staff. The Group’s vision is to be the leading provider of health and beauty products.
You must keep up with the latest promotions and product knowledge in order to provide our customers with the correct information.
Desired Experience & Qualification:
- Essential: Grade 12
- Desirable: Maths 50% and English 50% at Grade 12 level
- Desirable: Relevant Retail/Business Management qualification
- Desirable: experience in a customer facing role within a retail/FMCG store operations environment
